MENAHAN STREET BAND

Fresh off the release of their newest LP ‘The Crossing’, a brooding instrumental masterpiece that is as raw as it is lush,  the Menahan Street Band have been treating audiences to their rare live performances.  With influences reaching beyond the funk/soul/afrobeat architecture of the members other projects into the more ethereal realms of Curtis Mayfield, Mulatu Astatke, and even Ennio Morricone. Though most know as the official studio band at Thomas Brenneck’s world famous Dunham studio, MSB is also one of the finest live bands in the world.
